2010-02-09 02:01:00 | The scenario is similar to how a person is forbidden from shouting "there is a bomb" in a crowded area as it can spark off massive stampede. | Renmoo (66) | |
2010-02-09 02:06:00 | When they take you into the back room... I hear they do terrible things... No jihad or amount of money or drugs or whatever are worth having some big ass dude called Bob shoving his hand up your bumhome and having a lookey feely in there. Leave me out of this!

2010-02-09 02:33:00 | Guy arrested for making a joke to airport security in NZ: I know you can't lie to the cops but lying to security staff I thought was not illegal just like lying to your friends? No sympathy from this quarter, sorry. Although our airport goons can be a joke in themselves sometimes, they are still front line eyes and ears for police, and very valued for the work they do. Electronic surveillance and police can't be everywhere to give airports and everyone who comes and goes at an airport, this protection. Even proctologists. :o

2010-02-09 02:49:00 | And the other joke here: "Hamilton International Airport" :D What's funnier than that is: Invercargill International Airport.

2010-02-09 04:21:00 | Guy arrested for making a joke to airport security in NZ: tvnz.co.nz I know you can't lie to the cops but lying to security staff I thought was not illegal just like lying to your friends? This is similar to a person who stands up in a crowded picture theatre and yells "FIRE". Also I suspect lance4k, that if you lie to your friends on a regular basis then you will finish up with no friends.

2010-02-09 04:58:00 | Lance4k - have you ever been to an airport? If you haven't, then you should know that there are signs everywhere saying "we take threats seriously" warning you not to joke about bombs etc - big signs near the entrance, on the check in counters, on TV screens etc. | somebody (208) | |
2010-02-09 06:07:00 | As long as they smiled while arresting him, he has no grounds for complaint. If they had taken his bags outside and laughed as they blew the luggage to bits, would he have been rolling around in helpless mirth? Lying to Airport security is probably something even politicians should avoid.
