855765 2010-02-08 11:04:00 I've spent the last two years getting a Health & Safety qualification, In a lot of places they combine the role with Environment officer,so it was always on the list of possibilities.

Heh, I just found out I could have got a university qualification in the same amount of time, and I could have done it from home.:illogical

Anyhow, I'm reading through this Course Brochure from the Open Polytech and get this.

To pass each course, you must:
· Finish all your summative in-course assignments by their
due date
· Score at least 40% in each assignment
· Score at least 40% in the final examination (if the course
has a final examination) and
· Receive a final mark of at least 50% of the total possible
marks for the course.

What the ****? 40% ????? You have got to be kidding, 40% is mostly wrong, thats a fail and a beating not a freakin pass. I had to check again just in case this was an application for a job at the met service.

Out in the real world could anyone hold down a job where they got it wrong 60% of the time? ***. No wonder our houses leak.

On the plus side, This means I don't even have to try, I'll just get the paper, roar though it will I have a coffee and look at some porn, and send it back to them.

855766 2010-02-08 17:55:00 Yep that's about right my paper last year 2 assignments got 82% and 95% so only needed 30% in the exam to get the paper and passed the paper with 90% total and it wasn't as hard as I though it was going to be gary67 (56)
