1136012 2010-09-10 02:58:00 A friend has given a S200SP Canon Bubble Jet Printer without the printer cable.

Can anyone tell me what type USB cable it uses? (Type A or B? Or something different?)

1136013 2010-09-10 03:09:00 Depends what the connection on the printer looks like. Tell us what it looks like. And we'll tell you what cable to get. It'll be this www.dse.co.nz

Or this www.dse.co.nz

If the connection on the printer is square you'll get the 1st cable. If it looks like a normal USB connection the 2nd

It will be that one.
But don't buy it from DSE - ripoff agents for stuff like that.
Have a look on Pricespy - you'll get one way cheaper.

Fixed the link ;)
You need to click the "Link To This" button near the top right of the item's page (just copy/pasting the URL from the address bar doesn't work). :2cents:
Why DSE do that, beats me.

1136017 2010-09-10 11:31:00 The link to where? The link did work. I tested it before I posted it Speedy Gonzales (78)
1136018 2010-09-10 11:55:00 Just tried it in IE And Firefox and your link/s take me to DSE's start page (advertising toshiba laptops, free delivery and iPod docks), maybe if you close your browser and open it again, it may produce that effect for you :2cents: feersumendjinn (64)
1136019 2010-09-10 11:59:00 Well I know it takes it to the start page now. Too late now :p Speedy Gonzales (78)
1136020 2010-09-11 09:52:00 I spoke to my friend. She said it was "more square" rather than rectangular. So that will be it. I guess it will be male to male.

Thanks.
