1135584 2010-09-08 20:44:00 Hi, Does the above add to my broadband usage? On a favorite website of mine, a small video starts up automatically and is below the open page. It's quite small and can be missed when scrolling down the page. thanks, black black (4099)

Anything downloaded uses bandwidth so yes.

1135587 2010-09-09 00:22:00 Unfortunately, yes.

Having said so, since you mentioned it is your "favourite" website, the video may be loaded once and be cached for future display when you re-visit the web page again. However, if the video showcases an advertisement, then the content may be different everytime you load the page, thus the video will be reloaded from the webserver again and again.

Cheers :)
