1135085 2010-09-06 05:47:00 Have copied a ts file from Ultrasonic 9000 PVR 1080i HD and want to play it and edit it on the computer using Sony Media Studio 9. Have tried Windows Media Player, Media Player classic, DivX Player and vLC, but none recognise the format. TS is supposed to be a streaming file for mpeg2 files from TV. Any suggestions? Krad (7878)

Otherwise (if running XP) drag the file into SUPER and convert it to whatever is most appropriate for Media Studio 9. I found this worked even for files that VLC wouldn't play

(Start trying to play it and look at the tools, codec information screen).

I converted the ts file to avi with Superand it played on all players brilliantly.
