KTLA :: Bush Billboard: 'Miss me yet?'

KTLA News :: 4:38 AM PST, February 10, 2010

MINNEAPOLIS -- Former President George W. Bush has returned on a Minnesota billboard funded by some people who aren't happy with the way things are going in Washington.

The billboard's tagline: "Miss me yet?"

Office manager Beverly Master of Schubert and Hoey Outdoor Advertising in Minneapolis says the message was purchased by a group of small business owners and people from the Twin Cities area who want to remain anonymous.

Master says the billboard went up at the end of December overlooking Interstate 35 in Wyoming, Minn., and is scheduled to stay up until at least the end of February.

She says her company, which owns the billboard, has not done any others like it.

Wyoming Mayor Sheldon Anderson calls the billboard "rather clever" but says he doesn't know who's behind it.

857001 2010-02-10 19:14:00 Yeah sure SJ, we miss him like Win95 on a Covington Celeron. :lol:

Anyone who takes that billboard seriously does not remember how horrendously bad Bush was, or the condition in which he left the country, or how the world cringed when he spoke in his stupid cowboy manner.

857003 2010-02-10 23:25:00 The ground swell here in the States is that Obama's political popularity has fallen below 30% and that's not gonna float his boat for another four years.

Never in the history of the US presidency have the approval numbers of a newly elected president been so low. Usually the high honeymoon ground swell numbers continues for a two or two and a half years. This president has broken new low-ground.

857005 2010-02-11 00:37:00 We have a phrase, "Bush Lawyer" referring to either a thorny vine that is very difficult to escape without blood loss, or a clown that is somewhat bombastic, frequently wrong and unqualified for what he purports to be doing. We seem to have got the lucky end of the deal.

The American "Bush President" seems to be mutating into ever more virulent varieties, the second example was probably the ultimate own goal.

If I can hit a sparrow on power lines at 100m with a .22 sub-sonic, I can hit that.
