| 1135658 | 2010-09-09 06:46:00 | So first choose a CPU either Intel or AMD then choose a compatible Motherboard with the correct socket for the CPU. I have never fiddled with my computers , i would not know what type of processor to choose , hence my reason for asking the helpful "experts" here i do thank you all so far , for their input |

| 1135660 | 2010-09-09 07:02:00 | if your getting 4 gig ram put in and a 1 gig gfx card then you'd be stupid not to get 64bit windows, because 32bit windows cant address all that ram | GameJunkie (72) | ||

| 1135662 | 2010-09-09 10:18:00 | What brand of PSU? make sure you odn't get a cheapie | forrest44 (754) | ||
| 1135663 | 2010-09-09 11:08:00 | As forrest44 says. I'd be looking for a Corsair PSU preferably modular for cable management. I'd be looking for a Seagate or Western Digital Hard drive. An Asus or Gigabyte Motherboard. GameJunkie also makes a good point about the Operating System and total RAM so therefore a 64 bit system is indicated or put two x 1 Gig of RAM in for now which is probably all you will need with the 1 gig graphic card and use a 32 bit O/S. |
