| 1135440 | 2010-09-07 23:19:00 | I reset my hosts file to the default, with the free Trojan Remover. There is a setting from one of the drop down menu's. But of course it may remove your other hosts files, but could back them up first. | kahawai chaser (3545) | ||
| 1135441 | 2010-09-08 00:55:00 | You could try run notepad with Administrator rights - Click the Start/Orb and type notepad in to the search box and when it shows up above under Programs right-click it and choose Run as administrator. | CYaBro (73) | ||
| 1135442 | 2010-09-08 01:01:00 | If you have it installed, SpyBot has an option to lock the hosts file as read only. Seems to ring a bell when I tried to update mine once... Under TOOLS - IE TWEAKS. Will need to go into advanced mode first (MODE - ADVANCED on the menu bar) | ManUFan (7602) | ||
