1136770 2010-09-13 06:45:00 Ok sorry if this is a noobish question but I currently have a ASUS M2N68-AM PLUS with a low quality quality 420w psu and an old 9800gt and a AMD Athlon X 2 240 oc'd to 3.2.

Google wont tell me if it will support a Corsair TX-650 ATX 650W power supply with a 460GTX. Also will the 460 be held back by my cpu?

Any help would be appreciated :thanks

1136771 2010-09-13 06:48:00 You can put any PSU you want in the case. Depending on what the videocard has on it (if it needs a 6 or 8 pin connection), make sure the PSU has the connection on it Speedy Gonzales (78)

1136773 2010-09-13 07:02:00 Depends what kind of motherboard / cpu you get. And what you plan to use it for Speedy Gonzales (78)

Yes.

None. The motherboard is there to have every else connected to it - like a better CPU. Yes, the BIOS can matter for overclocking but that's as far as performance goes for motherboards.

GPU first.
CPU second.
