| 1136058 | 2010-09-10 08:55:00 | can utorrent, skype, xbox console use broadband when they are not 'running'? mum rang up telecom and asked about internet usage and the tech person said even though utorrent and skype are not on/open they consume broadband? to me this sounds like bs because they are not running in task manager when im on my laptop , not using them all the time. i make sure they are not running in taskmanager or startup. then there's the xbox 360, the telecom tech claims it uses broadband all the time(its plugged into the router via ethernet) cheers |
