2010-02-14 23:39:00 | Go to www.2degreesmobile.co.nz and www.telecom.co.nz and compare their pricing. Any good? I have no idea as I use neither.

2010-02-15 00:13:00 | 2 Degrees looks cheaper than Telecom. Certainly won't be going with XT due to the problems people seem to have them. | convair (13650) | |
2010-02-15 00:14:00 | 2d seems cheaper than telecom and vodafone for making calls. SMS are cheaper on both if you go for txt2k or the one telecom offers. Been using 2d for a while now, seems alright. Get 150 free SMS with a 20$ top up. International calls are reasonably priced too. And so are international SMS. No "best mate" kinda thing either. So in the end even the lower prices aren't that low at all.

2010-02-15 00:39:00 | XT due to the problems people seem to have them. You mean the two outages they have had? I'm with the old CDMA network and am not changing until it ends, but if you are not going to XT solely because of two outages they have had then that's pathetic. No network is perfect.

2010-02-15 01:44:00 | Another thing you should look out for is this: What network are most of your buddies on? If all your contacts are on Vodafone, and most of them are using TXT2k chances are, no one will ever SMS you anyway. I had a significant fall in people contacting me after switching to 2d. So I'd say vodafone is still king, if you are young. Telecom has better calling rates going into contracts. 2d is for people who prefer to call rather than SMS. But again lacking in call X number X times for free. Which is a big bummer these days.
