858988 2010-02-17 10:52:00 The story that I put forward was meant as an interesting tale. It was not meant to convince anyone of the existence of any godly creature or otherwise. I thought that the story had some merit and made an interesting comparison with what was discovered by the scientists and how that discovery had a parallel with some text in the Bible - text that was written thousands of years ago.

But the naysayers - yourself included - seemed to intepret the story as another religious tale, and each time another 'religious tale' appears the naysayers seem to feel the need to stamp it out before the idea multiplies. Can't have that sort of thing on F1.
Of course it is a load of BS. If you think the sun or earth are going to suddenly stop for a short period and then restart their rotation you are dreaming.

858991 2010-02-18 21:34:00 Such an interesting and well thought out arguement. Can't see why anyone would not be swayed by logic such as that.

Well done.

Ok, this made me chuckle a bit, honestly, Im not taking a dig, I understand people discovering the 'faith' side of things, but if you use you comment there and put it in context of today knowing what you know now, would you believe me if I told you about a zombie who cured the living who was the son of god who once was tortured on a cross because we sin?

Interesting thought aint it.

858992 2010-02-19 04:13:00 See that man over there the one with the beard? His mother never had sex yet she is his mother apparently. He can make sick people better by touching them, he can make a few loaves of bread and one or two fish feed a multitude. Oh and his father lives in the sky and has never been seen but talks to those other people who call themselves ministers, Bishops, Popes etc.

Now tell me whose been smoking the loco weed? It certainly wasn't me

I see a problem where it takes an imperfect person to relay perfect messages from God to people. I think catholicism is destructive.

I think what we have now is too good to be an accident ie actually existing is rather good, and unlikely.
