I was a designer then maths teacher but I have never been interested or tried playing games - particularly Rubiks cube or similar.
But I was intrigued to see many of my fourth formers solving Rubiks in a few minutes.
I hadn't the moral courage then to admit I didn't know how to do it but having been retired for 14 years or so, feel now is the time to front up and learn some of the rules - anybody give me some please.

no rules as such.

i used to be able to do it withen a few minutes back in school days , can't remember the exact time tho.
main thing is that the centre squares never move, you move the side or corner ones to suit. theres a few preset moves on how to move a square into position without upsetting the other squares. once you work out those its fairly easy. then its just working whats the fasted route depending on how its mixed, thats what the robot can work out at great speed faster than humans can.
