2010-02-13 08:22:00 | Wow, Just when Blu-Ray with all it's data capacity has started to go mainstream, there is a new, better format waiting in the wings... HVD (Holographic Versatile Disc) en.wikipedia.org check out the storage capacity of this mama!!!! :clap:clap

2010-02-13 08:31:00 | Who needs it? It has been calculated that all the worthwhile moments of Television can be recorded on a single 3.5" floppy disc, and still leave 1.38 MB for advertising. The highlights of politics for the human race for the last 6000 years could be added without measurable change in the figures. | R2x1 (4628) | |
2010-02-13 08:35:00 | Oh wow! Optical discs with capacities from 0.5 to 6TB! But look at the projected delivery date... 2019. Don't hold your breath waiting for them to arrive. On the other hand, use those 9 to 10 years to save the US$15,000 for the drives!

2010-02-13 08:41:00 | Lets hope DVD is the end of the road for distributing media on a spinning silver disc. Blu-Ray has been a dismal failure, It will barely rate a mention apart from being another in a long long line of media systems that were not wanted nor supported by the consumer.

2010-02-13 11:12:00 | I think I heard about a Hologram storage medium from these guys (http://www.inphase-technologies.com/) even before Blu-Ray came to market... | Agent_24 (57) | |
2010-02-13 19:36:00 | So, the Blue Ray is scratched for it's scratchability? Have those Rovers on Mars found a fighting suit with a counter-ray yet?
