The offer is part of Google's expansion into controlling all aspects of a web user's experience.
Resistance is futile....

857853 2010-02-13 03:30:00 Movie StreetView sounds like an interesting, useful, but also gimicky idea :) Chilling_Silence (9)
857854 2010-02-13 04:02:00 It seems google wants "the internet", including connecting to it, this is in addition to personal search they recently introduced (to optimize user's searchers when logged in), in addition to adding "user content" search results for individuals that publicly display their own Google maps. Also they just paid 50 million for a social search engine Aardvark (www.searchenginejournal.com(Search+E ngine+Journal)), and apparently their Social buzz platform is a hit (with refinements just added).

In addition they are also targeting the mobile phone platform, including paying 750 million for adMob. (techcrunch.com) In addition to developing their android platform for mobile...

I guess Google where never rest in developments, acquisitions, platform development, etc but I guess it's for the benefit of internet users, as most internet users use a Google product...

Yes, I tapped into their central planetary database named "Google."
