| 1138490 | 2010-09-20 07:19:00 | Hey, I'm trying to set up WAMP server so that I can serve my own WAMP hosted website to any other computer anywhere. I typed in my IP address but the default port (80) directed me to my router's control panel. So i changed Apache's listening port to 8080 and tried myipadress:8080, but it didn't work, Chrome just says "Oops! Google Chrome could not connect to 203.160.123.16:8080" So what'm I doing wrong? Thanks! |

| 1138492 | 2010-09-21 03:54:00 | A few things come to mind: 1) Forward the port as SoniKalien said 2) Adjust your apache config so it's listening on all IP's and not just for localhost connections 3) Get somebody else to try and connect to you, some routers don't like internal connections trying to go out and come back in ... So ask a friend to test your port-forward. |

| 1138493 | 2010-09-26 05:15:00 | I've got port 8080 forwarded on my router. But it's still not working. How do I get Apache to listen on all IPs? At the moment httpd.conf says "Listen 8080" | pingu45 (13461) | ||
| 1138494 | 2010-09-26 20:44:00 | Try: Listen 0.0.0.0:8080 |
