| 1138318 | 2010-09-19 20:32:00 | Hi, A friend's computer came with office installed on a trial basis. She decided to delete it as she didn't want it. Unfortunately, the email account must have been part of office, as it has vanished as well and also, she cannot now access the internet. Is there any way to recover it including all the stuff that was saved? thanks black | black (4099) | ||

| 1138321 | 2010-09-20 00:02:00 | Try doing a system restore, it might replace the application & the account with it Failing that, search your PC for a .PST file (search for [*.PST] without the brackets) and see if anything comes up, if it does you should be able to open it with Outlook (which you'll have to re-install from somewhere) The email might also be stored by the ISP's server, can you access it via a website on their homepage? That's assuming it's an @yourISP.co.nz address of course, and your Outlook wasn't set to "remove from server" when it downloaded the messages... |

As inphinity said the data should stay in a complete file .pst Depending on the version of Windows you are using, ( the exact path cna be given) if you do a search for *.pst it will find it. |
