| 1137813 | 2010-09-17 00:52:00 | Dell Dimension E521 Windows Vista Home 32bit Attempted downloaded AVG v9 lost ability to connect to internet through lan - checked lan setting: all automatic - checked internet options: all automatic - uninstalled network device, reboot, reinstall: no change - downloaded network device driver installed: no change - installed a USB to Lan adapter: same result - no connection - uninstalled AVG 8.5 - reset Winsock: no change - installed Microsoft Security Essentials - couldn't scan because it wasn't updated - installed Malwarebytes, scanned & removed multiple infections still no internet connection error on the lan device: The network adapter Broadcom 440x 10/100 integrated controller is experiencing driver or hardware related issues. any suggestions accepted |
