Garages are charging from $60 - $80 per hour for labour. It is very expensive to maintain a 'cheap' car nowadays. Of course, if you are a car mechanic yourself, then it's a totally different story. basicly untrue. Just a matter of getting the RIGHT old car (corolla, 323) My $1000 20year old mazda is the most reliable car Ive owned repair costs: $100 for the electronic ignition thing $500 to replace shock & brake hose (needed for warrant) Past cheap cars My $400 Mazda only ever needed a radiator replaced (cheap) My $650 mazda : no issues ever. My $10000 car cost me $$$$$$ in repairs. |

I knew you could get done for numberplate lights, I was always warned about those, but sun visor? WTF? |

Would never go to VTNZ, much rather have a real mechanic looking at my car, even if that means the odd unnecessary repair |
