"It was unlikely the animals had been attacking stock because of the type of breed..." and "They were harmless and not intimidating so a person wouldn't have needed to protect themselves or their stock..." There are very few (domestic) dog breeds that won't have a go at stock. That's their nature. All dogs are "harmless and not intimidating" as far as their owner is concerned... I love dogs - but if you are living semi-rural or rural, your dogs should be restrained, not wandering the neighbourhood. |

| 859975 | 2010-02-22 20:29:00 | Its not fair that farmers can wax dogs on their farm worrying stock but us town dwellers cant do a thing. Stray dog on Dads farm in Nelson no collar, displays lack of intelligence, does not look like lost pig dog it gets blasted with 8MM Brno mauser. |
