859645 2010-02-18 06:52:00 I have never smoked and probably wouldn't want to.

They reckon giving up smoking is more difficult than other drags

They obviously haven't smoked heroin...

Alcohol withdrawal can actually kill ya too.

859646 2010-02-18 07:06:00 I tried to start smoking a few times, because it's cool, along with my mates but always felt sick afterwards so never kept going.
Could never figure out why anyone would want to carry on smoking once trying it.
My mates all smoke except for a couple of them.

859647 2010-02-18 07:18:00 I never started smoking and never intend to. Second-hand smoke is bad enough. pcuser42 (130)

859650 2010-02-18 09:15:00 Started aged around 12 and was pretty soon smoking 10 a day. (cost 10 pence) Delivered the Auckland Star and NZ Herald to pay for the stupid things. Got up to around 50 a day and finally gave up after 33 years (in 1987) of the dirty filthy lovely things.

I just stopped! f...ing near went mad doing it but have never had one since.

859651 2010-02-18 09:32:00 I smoked a pack of 20 per day but easily could do 50 on the piss. When I was drunk in the pub I this horrible habit of forgetting I had lit a fag and then light another one. 2 burning at the same time sure increases the consumption.
The only good thing I have seen about smoking is when working on a machine and it turns to **** you could go off for a butt, calm down go back and the job will get sorted.
Now I cant do that, I now rant and rave kick things and throw tools around the workshop.

859652 2010-02-18 17:46:00 Never started as lost 2 uncles and a both grandfathers to lung cancer, can't stand the smell in the air, in my clothes, in my car etc. But I don't expect others to stop smoking just not to do it in my space. And since I have played sport all my life since about age 6 smoking was out of the question any way and same with my mates gary67 (56)
859653 2010-02-18 18:32:00 I gave up about 3 years ago too, still don't mind the smell as some go on about.

Forgot I was saving so much, must go out and buy a toy or two.
