| 1139127 | 2010-09-23 02:32:00 | As part of my research into upgrading my PC I am curious to know from all the knowledgeable ones (Youse guys) if there is any real difference between the various compatible CPU's from AMD and Intel. And also are there any sequential issues such as the MBO's being more/less available and/or the MBO's being costlier/cheaper for either CPU. If I can save on a CPU (assuming similar performance) it frees up funds to get better components elsewhere. | davehold (13001) | ||

AMD is never going to beat Intel on performance, however if you dont need the fastest CPU, they compete on price\performance standing.... Check this article ........ www.anandtech.com |
