| 1138729 | 2010-09-21 10:27:00 | Can someone please tell me how to dismantle this keyboard... I have taken out all the screws but the top still sticks to it like it has been pasted there with Superglue :( Thanks for your time. |

| 1138731 | 2010-09-22 00:02:00 | Try a thin knife blade to widen the gap between the two halves .... you should be able to see or feel for the clips that hold the top & bottom together. You either have to lever the top out or push the clips in to release them .... If that doesn't work .... buy a hammer :devil |

I have read on the internet some of these keyboards have a silicone layer somewhere but I am unable to find it. I have put in ball point pens around all the keyboard in 5 different spots and it still won't come off... Really the first time Im not impressed with a Microsoft product. |

Don't know how we are supposed to do maintenance on the keyboard but nvm. Keyboard is wrecked, Keys O,0,j,q and . are not working... Will have to get me a new one, but I don't feel bad, because it didnt work anyway. Won't be buying a Microsoft Keyboard again tho. |
