1138735 2010-09-21 08:04:00 Is it possible to run 2 ADSL2 modems on the one Telecom circuit?

One each for it's own computer?

I'm guessing not!

1138737 2010-09-21 08:43:00 Why would you want to anyway? if you need more ports buy a switch gary67 (56)
1138738 2010-09-21 08:44:00 As in 2x plans with 2x modems?
You should be able to but i'm not sure how/why you would do this.

Its called bonding, check this post for more info about what it actually does mybroadband.co.za

Basically the two connections are shared and as far as I know 2x 3mb/s connections would not give a 6mb/s download speed. the connection is shared and balanced. once one router get maxed the other will be used.

You can't do it on the same phone line - you'd need two lines.

1138741 2010-09-21 09:05:00 You also can't use channel bonding without support from the ISP - it's not as simple as just signing up for two broadband connections. Erayd (23)
