| 861872 | 2010-02-26 20:00:00 | How's the noise like - say outside and from your neighbours? It's tempting because I have work colleagues who have lived in more than 1 apartment . I'm a morning person and it can be convenient . Walk to work and the shops and back . I am in Welly so we have abundance of bakeries, supermarkets, butchers, deli's, appliance stores, Warehouse, Briscoes in the CBD . The other place I thought was J'ville, pretty close but does require travelling to work . I can also do my sunrise and sunset shots due to my photography (instead of driving out 6am every Saturday and maybe Sunday as well) and again in the evenings . There is also a international feeling being in the city . Having been overseas, people live in apartments, they come home after work and head to the grocers . One can also go to a cafe past dinner time and have a coffee, in this regard Newtown is also another option I am thinking of . The city may also have Telstra Cable Internet and Woosh so I can flag the phoneline . I know they maybe smaller but I spent 6yrs in Duny as a student and now I have all my stuff in my room that might be the size of 3 single beds width by 1 . 5 beds long . :D It was actually my choice to pick the smallest room when we moved here . |

From people I've talked to, getting Telstraclear Cable in an apartment complex is damn near impossible unless the property developers had wiring put in during construction . Most of the people I know living in apartments somewhere in central Wellington are stuck with either ADSL or Woosh . |
