| 860899 | 2010-02-23 05:57:00 | Ordered laptop + flashdrive (same order) from Ascent on Thursday, paid for by 10am. 11am receive a email saying they were shipping both that day, got given a tracking number. So I check my order status: 18 Feb 2010 WILS0162-W1 646877 $1,147.68 All items supplied So I go into the individual items on my order, both say shipped, but only the flashdrive has a tracking number to NZ Couriers site. But pretty much after 3 phone calls to NZ Couriers, including being screwed round and lied to, I finally JUST got the flashdrive tonight. No laptop. I know they send things separately but why do I not have a tracking number for the laptop even though it says it's been shipped, it should've been here by now and was expecting it with the flashdrive. Courier said there was no other parcel. |

I wasn't really expecting it on Friday (that would've made it overnight, although the flashdrive was picked up in Chch on Friday) but nothing even Saturday morning...Nothing Monday, now no laptop today and no tracking number. If the courier company had it (which I have no idea if they do because I have no tracking number) it would've come today with the drive. So much for Overnight delivery (allow another day for south island)...Coming up 5 working days tomorrow. | --Wolf-- (128) | ||

| 860904 | 2010-02-23 06:46:00 | Will ring tomorrow as they are closed now. Really feel like slagging off NZ Couriers as well. [special instructions were to delivery after 3.30pm, I would be at work but someone would be home and it had to be signed for] Flashdrive was picked up in CHCH on Friday and ready for delivery (according to tracking number) same day. Scanned in my area on Saturday, no delivery though. Come Monday the site claims a card was left. No card left, even asked the courier tonight and she said she hadn't been here before (and she is the courier for my area). I ring them Monday, they say they can't deliver it after 3.30pm...so what they were just gonna keep it and not tell me? She said it would be redelivered Tuesday morning. Come 1.30pm Tuesday I ring asking where it is, she says it will be delivered before 3.30pm (says that on tracking site also). Come 5pm I ring AGAIN, they phone the courier driver, the driver says no one has told her to redeliver and will drop it in on her way home (just before 7). What a joke. On the parcel it has a pink "dear customer" sticker stating "this consignment has been delayed...."cant get there after 3.30pm"" and also a redelivery notice stating it to be delivered BEFORE 3.30pm today. I doubt it was going to be delivered at all if I didn't chase it up. Can't believe how useless this courier is. |

| 860905 | 2010-02-23 07:19:00 | Dont go slamming all the NZ couriers at once. Our NZ Courier guy couldn't be better. Every time I order something from anywhere in NZ, its delivered the following morning once its left the suppliers. There has been countless times I have ordered from Dove in wgtn around 3.30pm and I have the goods by 5 that night, even though they are overnight delivery. If from Auckland - as long as its left by 4.00pm I have it before 8am the next morning. Same for the weekends, If its left wgtn by 4pm, I usually have it at the latest 11am Saturday, even though its not meant to be delivered till Monday. Our guy goes out of his way to get you the goods asap. As johcar said, They often supply from different suppliers So if you ordered the laptop on Thursday, the order sent to the suppiers - the supplier may not have even shipped it till Monday, esp if they are busy on a friday. |

Our NZ Courier guy couldn't be better. x2 The current Fastway courier in my area is awesome, but all the previous Fastway people weren't that great at all. I'm still very impressed with FedEx - sent me my EEPROM programmer from Thailand faster than it took one of our couriers to bring my video card from Christchurch... |
