861721 2010-02-28 18:41:00 huh? what's this got to do with the thread title? you should explain why you disagree with me, unless you can't explain because you know i'm right. my children are happy having freedom of choice. do u like freedom of choice?

why are you generally against abortions? why don't you think women should have a choice on whether they have an abortion or not? it's their body and unborn child.

Children need boundaries in order to learn whats right from wrong, what can hurt them etc. I really don't think it needs explaining.

I'm against abortion because it is murder, I would never make that decision for anyone because it is not only my child but there's too and they do have to go through a lot more than I would. But that doesnt mean I have to be ok with whatever the woman decides does it? As you said freedom of choice.

And as Prefect asked, how old are you? Do you even have kids?

Well lance4k as you appear to live in your own world I very much doubt you will get support for your theory.

and whats the point of a 3am boundary for kids? kids could get hurt after 3am, YES . kids could get hurt at Lunchtime, YES .

So by giving them a time to come home, your teaching them what?, that when their an adult and their spouse says they have to come home they have to even though it's not illegal?

What other boundaries would you give your kids? Do you think your kids should stop playing with their fingers at midnight? Do you think your kids should stop scratching their mosquito bites at 1am?

What's the point of a curfew? So you know your kids are home and stop worrying?, then what happens when your child turns 18 and moves out of home, are you going to stop worrying and if so, why?, because 18 year olds can be victims of crime .

861729 2010-03-01 11:25:00 why 3am? why not 2.30am? why not 1am? why do you find 3am wrong for kids to be out? is it because it's dark and more dangerous? if so, couldn't it be dangerous for adults too?

Let me guess, Your 13 and think its unfair your not allowed to walk the streets at 3am?

And yes, Its a big bad world out there and children aren't equipped for it (that's you, Your an especially naive youngster who sure as hell would get eaten up and spat out), That is why they parents take responsibility for protecting there children and teaching them as they grow to a state where they can look after themselves.

Your not at that stage yet, So you just come across as silly and childish, especially when stating what you would do with "your children".

861730 2010-03-01 19:48:00 I think you are all being a bit hard, but i do sort of agree with every one

I think there is a big difference between a 13 year old walking the streets and a 21 year old walking the streets at 3 am
If either commit a crime at this time (say robbing a bank - good luck with that at 3am or breaking windows) i think the parents should be responsible for the 13 year old but the 21 year old is old enough to walk his own line

Should the parents be punished for the 13 year olds crime - possibly yes but i think the 13 year old should be punished also

Just remember at 3am "always blow on the pie"
