With XP and it's peripherals it's just too easy to fill up the available space with updates, etc. sarel |

I guess you have pix and vids? If so consider moving them onto a USB stick you can get pretty big ones nowadays . Adobe authors / professional photographers has even external HDDs (USB 2 . 0) at the time off their laptops as their main editing computer so it can be done without being too slow . |

I'll definitely get Open Office Writer (only) and ditch the Word trial and Works.
