Otherwise buy japanese if you want second hand, especially a japanese built toyota. Ignore all the stuff in the news about toyota, they are still the best of a bad bunch, and some of the such going on is political. | robbyp (2751) | ||

If you can fix them yourself getting parts from wreckers or Trademe you can keep the price of owning a car rock bottom. I had E93A for over 30 years but the rust got it. Its cheaper for me to buy a whole truck like a Ford Trader from Trademe than to buy parts from even a truck wrecker. Front spring went last year it was going to cost 400 to retemper each side or over 500 for two second hand springs. Bought whole Mazda Titan (same as trader) it had failed cof for rust in cab from TM for 500. Springs were choice. Sold 10 speed gearbox from it for 350. |
