| 1139577 | 2010-09-25 20:04:00 | Morning all and thanks for all you help and understanding with my floppy drive problem, yesterday . :clap Today's problem is with Microsoft Office's Powerpoint . Whenever I try to access a Power point file I receive the following message, Microsoft Office Powerpoint . Powerpoint Viewer was unable to to start properly . To reinstall any missing files, run Setup again . :badpc: I downloaded a fresh PowerPointViewer . exe setup program and reinstalled numerous times, to no avail . I thought of uninstalling and reinstalling, but can't find it on my hard drive . Am running XP Home and fully updated . Thanks again for all your advise, Ian . :clap |

| 1139579 | 2010-09-25 22:30:00 | www.microsoft.com www.microsoft.com There are two versions, second one may be Powerpoint Viewer 2003 though it doesnt say so. I thought of uninstalling and reinstalling, but can't find it on my hard drive. You are looking for it in Add & Remove Programs (in Control Panel) arent you? You'll definitely have problems if you try deleting program files/folders manually. If you find it in there, you may have the option of repairing the installation (I do, under Vista). |
