| 862951 | 2010-03-02 00:15:00 | I may be missing something here. The eater of the ticket loses out because he can no longer produce the ticket. Ryanair decides to donate the proceeds to charity. Firstly, the ticket was verified as being a winning ticket by the crew. Secondly the crew and some passengers witnessed the winning ticket being eaten. So there's no doubt what happened. Ryanair is not paying out the 10K Euros because the ticket can't be produced. Then presumably because they know the ticket can never be presented intact, they "generously" give the winnings to charity. :illogical |
