Is it readily available at liquor shops got me interested.
To those people who put down water, tea soup etc as fav drinks you are sickos lol.

yup its pretty good cuban stuff indeed

most places that sell liquor sell the stuff - there are 3 kinds (well i mean ages - 3,5 and 7 years aged) - 3 year being cheapest and 7 year most expensive of course - im no connoisseur so they are all good enough for me :punk

Almost as bad as the ignorant Aussies that did this to a single malt:

Good as it might be Ciccy, it is still a blend of whiskys that were not quite good enough to stand on their own. I'd not turn my nose up at it though, in fact I'd not turn my nose up at any proper whisky, single malt or blended.

Reminds me of when I visited Japan as part of a Business tour and we all stocked up on whisky as gifts for our various hosts. When we were leaving there was just one bottle left so we gave it to our driver as he dropped us at the airport. He held it like a new born baby and looked like he was going to either cry or kiss somebody.

Earlier on I hadn't quite grasped the significance of genuine scotch whisky to the Japanese and treated the barman at our hotel to a Scotch (the standard kiwi 'have one for yourself on my tab barman' and he just about fell over the bar.

Cheers

Interesting yarn there B.

Remember blends are regarded as the thing in wine making and not to be sneezed at,so it's the taste is the thing, not an idea.
