| 1140020 | 2010-09-29 08:19:00 | Our set up is...Phone into a D-Link DSL-504T ADSL Router. From output of that into a Belkin 54g G Wireless Router with the WiFi outlet & 4 outputs for hard connected PCs. A Toshiba Laptop will connect to the Internet ok. We cannot get the W7 laptop to "TalkTo" an Epson printer. It has been suggested that out Modem/ Router set up is the cause & we should get a single WiFi unit. PJ Your setup can be made to work fine. Networkwise it is the same as mine (Telecom adsl modem/router into a wireless router/switch. But you have to make sure that you don't have two routers/dhcp servers active. My wireless 'router' is setup as an Access Point with DHCP coming from the Telecom modem. Admittedly, a combined unit gets over some of the configuration issues. |

| 1140021 | 2010-09-29 08:33:00 | There is a shortage of Independent technicians in Wanganui, but we have one coming on Monday. Computer Repair Shops charge an arm & a leg. There is one outfit in Palmerston North who is cheaper than the two most expensive in Wanganui yet are willing to travel here!!! I assume they would spend a day here to make it worthwhile.
