1139872 2010-09-27 05:03:00 A Few things you have to consider:

1> How much Power, Speed, performance etc do you want - the higher that answer is the Higher the price. Do you want to use Socket 775 (if Intel) which are being slowly phased out and more than likely not going to be available soon - this is in case of failures. These boards are becoming less and less choices to what they used to have, and their prices are lower than the Newer boards.

2>Do you want Quality parts ? Example you can buy a El Cheap PSU or a More expensive good quality one of the same wattage -- Which one would you expect to last longer and not give trouble ?

Heres an example: If I look at one of my suppliers sites:

Black mid tower ATX case with 320W PSU (Max power), ext:5.25"x4 / 3.5"x1, int: 3.5" x5, front audio and USB

My buy price -- lets say I would get change from $45.00 ;)

The case is a Basic case, but is fine for day to day usage BUT how good do you think the 320W PSU actually is ?

Lets say It wouldn't be staying in the PC, a better Corsair will be installed.

1139873 2010-09-27 05:27:00 Oh Bummer, Ran out of time :sleep.

Think carefully about what you actually want to do.

The one I quoted for today and got signed off, is very similar to Bottom one here at Playtech (www.playtech.co.nz) -- Slightly different components and Case (but cheaper overall price as well). I told the guy he didn't need that much grunt to do what he wanted, he does the odd bit of light gaming, but that's what he wanted, I had a list of parts, and prices, chopped and changes components and he selected what he wanted.
