1139427 2010-09-25 02:06:00 Disable the FDD in your BIOS .

Yer, I tried that and ducked it up .

After, I thought, I had disabled the A Drive I reboot and got, "The blue screen of death", but in fact is was black .

So I went in and re enabled it and I'm working now .

What I have just tried was I disabled in Device Manager and I'll see if that helps .

Don't use a drive much now . :sleep

It's been about 2 1/2 hours since I disabled the A drive and it's not made a sound since.

Seem like we might have fixed, the problem and it don't seem like I upset anyone.

So that's good.

Thank you all for your helpful tips.

Hey Speedy.

I would, if I could, but I can't.

Drive is, sorta, moulded to the case.

It's not a separate drive, but I don't know on the inside, as I don't know how to get the front off.
:thanks

Already had heart failure, when I stuff up working in bios, this morning.

I disabled the A Drive, about 2ish and been quite ever since. I can turn it back on, if need be.
