| 1139727 | 2010-09-26 20:19:00 | I have a strange problem. My email acct is with Yahoo Xtra and I run Thunderbird. The arrangement works well. I can read my emails on Thunderbird at home on my PC and access them at work, or anywhere, my going in to my Yahooxtra account, and they are there until deleted. The problem occurs when I use my laptop. The laptop gobbles up the emails, ie it downloads all the emails on to the laptop and they are no longer accessible either to my PC or on the YahooXtra account. Any ideas as to a wrong setting I might have, or any other ideas. | blennox (3452) | ||

| 1139729 | 2010-09-26 20:34:00 | Just to clarify - In Thunderbird go to Tools/Account settings Click on Server Settings Tick the box- leave messages on server It is best to select the number of days you want them left on the server as well as if you don't they will continue building up and may eventually exceed the allowable limit. |
