| 1140850 | 2010-10-01 02:36:00 | I'm trying to format a hard drive prior to sale and it is telling that it can't because something is using it. I restarted in safe mode but I get the same result. I'm uninstalling MSSE - will that be enough or is there another utility that I can use to wipe the HDD? |

Or download dban, burn the ISO to cd, make the cd the bootdisk, boot from it, then wait for it to kill everything. This will take a while, depending on how big the hdd is | Speedy Gonzales (78) | ||
