Except that isn't TiVo's busniess model (in NZ anyway - I don't know what it is in the US). MySky is a commerical enterprise leasing a multi-tuner box plus selling "special interest" channels (their core business) and TiVo is just selling a fancy Freeview box, with the ability to interface with your PC and download a selection of movies on demand. A much simpler business model with a lot less overhead. |
