864407 2010-03-06 21:54:00 Blame the Sensible Sentencing types for putting the Police in this position where they pursue minor offenses.

That would be like me blaming the Mickey Mouse Club for your posts, If the Police are so weak that they are unable to do their jobs without folding under the near non-existent pressure of a group of concerned people who had nothing to do with any part of this series of events then they aren't deserving of their positions as law enforcers and should resign in shame immediately.

864409 2010-03-07 11:42:00 wonder how the judge can force the police to take the boy for a look at the police cells. the boy wasn't charged with anything was he? lance4k (4644)
864410 2010-03-07 21:58:00 prosecute just like they did when that gun shop owner shot a crazed man with a knife in his store.

That I would like to see, quite an unusual knife!

864412 2010-03-07 22:43:00 wooden spoon? about as effective as whipping someone with a drinking straw. Go pick one up and see what you can damage with it. Be lucky to crease a bit of paper.

so you do what my parents did and use a lenght of alkathine pipe instead

good lord did that stuff hurt - you knew you were in for it when that stuff came out :O

Too right, not like in the days of the Brighton and Glasgow Razor Gangs...or even a bit more recently the Kray brothers; in the good old days when everything and everyone was law abiding and peaceful :banana

864416 2010-03-08 05:20:00 There was a higher standard of "peaceful" and a much more vigorous category of "law abiding" then, don't know what the world is coming to these days. In favour of the current times, it must be said that you don't hear the bread man swearing at his horse like we used to endure. R2x1 (4628)
