1140767 2010-09-30 21:04:00 As per the link Speedy posted: Buying another HDD wont fix the problem.

The Previous HDD's - were they tested on another PC after they failed on yours ?

Bit of history please;Has this PC ever run OK, and if so, for how long - how old is it ?

It's new. I have built it in the summer.
I had the same problem the first time I built it, so I used my room mate's old hard drive and I didn't tell him, but I don't know why, but one day I turned it on and there was no POST, so I got it replaced for the first time, so I took it out and put it back to his pc, and the whole bundle replaced, when I got everything back, I got the same problem, got it replaced, and here I am right now!

By the way, I don't think it has anything to do with a PSU, because the first time it broke, I was using my old PSU, but now I got new one.

EDIT:::
I am going to sleep in a bit, should I leave the memtest running all night... or should I wait till it is finished, turn the pc off and go to sleep?

1140768 2010-09-30 21:10:00 Is Nortons / Symantec, or Zonealarm on this?

Because it looks like both of these can cause that 0x0000007F stop error

1140772 2010-09-30 21:19:00 Should I run memtest86 for the whole night... or should I wait till it is finished once and then turn it off? phq (15980)
1140773 2010-09-30 21:20:00 I would set the BIOS settings to the default settings first. Is AHCI enabled or disabled in the BIOS now?? If its enabled, disable it, unless you have the SATA drivers for it

Reboot it when the post screen comes up press the pause key on the keyboard. WHAT BIOS is on it right now?? Because there's 18 BIOS updates for this mobo at the mo.

Umm.. When I enter the BIOS at the bottom it says: "v02.61"

1140775 2010-09-30 21:35:00 Well, for the time being I would run memtest. See if any errors come up

Hmm there is no 02.61. It starts from 0211, and the latest is 2105

Where can I have a look? Because when I keep clicking the pause button nothing happens.

Found it !

It says:
BIOS Revision 2005. Is that it?
