Does no one else swim there?

We used to live near a waterfall as well and used to spend almost every afternoon, after school, there doing the same thing. We even had a rope swing until some bugger chopped down the tree that the rope was attached to!

865340 2010-03-09 23:59:00 Yeah other people swim there occasionally but everyone calls it "Roddy's waterfall" :D roddy_boy (4115)
865341 2010-03-10 00:16:00 That looks like a very high cliff to jump off. Ice Road Trucker (15659)
865342 2010-03-10 00:23:00 Nice. Especially on a hot day.

We have a freshwater swimming hole that we use way up in the north west Pilbara when we are in the area, can be 45+ in the sun but the water is cold and a high cliff to jump from. And no worries about croc's either.

Recently we were down in the West Coast, South Island territory We re-visited a few places out of nostalgia. Husband decided to walk down to have a look at an old swing bridge and came back saying "how could I have ever dived from that into the river?" He reckoned the bridge was now much higher above the river and the river had become far more shallow! Either, he has become wiser with maturity, or maybe something else!
