| 865178 | 2010-03-09 22:39:00 | She was known to Social Welfare www.nzherald.co.nz Appears to be a solo mum, no mention of father. Different story. That's a 21-year-old mother where one of her 11-month-old twin girls drowned in a few minutes as she went to get something, who tried CPR & called an ambulance. The one with the murder charge is the 29-year-old mother whose 13-month-old son drowned while left unattanded in the bath for quarter of an hour, then did nothing to try help him when she realized. According to the news reporters, anyway. Who knows if they get their facts straight. But if the news info is correct, then putting a 13-month old in a bath and leaving for 15 minutes, then doing nothing when you realise hes drowning/drowned, imo deserves to be charged with negligence causing death or similar. |
