864229 2010-03-05 06:21:00 They are applying to have Telecom exempt from GST; the goods aren't, and they abandoned service years ago.
If the head monkey was remunerated according to results he would be pouring money into the morass.

864230 2010-03-05 07:16:00 As I keep telling people, if they moved their landlines, broadband and cellphones to other providers, that would make Telecom sit up and take notice.

Moaning while continuing to give them your money accomplishes nothing. Why would they bother to do anything other than just what they have been - everyone continues to use them anyway. Like the sheep they are.

Nice theory, every company I have tried has been as bad if not shockingly worse then telecom, and telecom still get their cut. After a few months of bizarre incompetence and utter crap service from callplus it was nearly enjoyable to talk to a Telecom worker. Vodafone, xnet, orcon can all go to hell as well.

864231 2010-03-05 07:26:00 Maybe because they offer better plans than anyone else, no other ISP matches Telecom's "Big Time" plan.

Anything that comes close is much more expensive, and anything that is the same price has too many limitations.

864232 2010-03-05 08:01:00 Due to coming from a long line of people born under lucky stars I have no dealings whatsoever with Telecom, a situation that pleases me daily. (I want no connection to the sods, unlike their customers who try frequently to get one ;) ) R2x1 (4628)

864234 2010-03-05 09:52:00 When I said lucky, I meant good luck; quite obviously that rules out Lucas, and Lucas itself rules out electric anything with the exception of the odd spark (from the switches, not the ignition, let me hasten to add). R2x1 (4628)

864236 2010-03-05 10:03:00 True indeed. I worked for an auto-electrician as a schoolboy in the holidays - I saw enough of that trash to last me a lifetime long before I was 16.
It can scar a young lad. ;)

864237 2010-03-05 12:31:00 Theresa Gattung would make a damn good Prime Minister. If I was remotely interested in politics I'd vote for her. Greg (193)
864238 2010-03-05 18:38:00 You should be penned up with her for a couple of years then. R2x1 (4628)
