| 1141884 | 2010-10-05 07:49:00 | C# Remember it's not so much the language, but the problem solving skills and broader programming techniques you learn. We have people at work who trained in one language, who are now programming in Java, and they've simply adapted to the new language. |

| 1141885 | 2010-10-06 05:39:00 | Yeah, biggest mistake might be to assume you'll only be using that one language... bank on having to adapt a little quite often, and with a major change thrust on you every decade or so. You may find you need to be a jack-of-all-languages, and master of only a few. Eg HTML type skills needed in everything you turn to, but not necessarily in depth. |
