2010-10-05 02:45:00 | I dumped mine when I could not get it to work under XP. Never bought a Mustek scanner since and I won't ever again either. | Snorkbox (15764) | |
2010-10-05 03:11:00 | Not supported. Much simpler is to buy a new 4in1. | PENTIUM (426) | |
2010-10-05 03:23:00 | Look at Vuescan demo, some folks have gotten more specialist scanners to work on that when the OS not support it. You can use Vuescan for all scanning or maybe use the driver provided your own scanners scanning s/w works. Demo has a watermark, not sure what happens if you are able to access the scanners software thou ....

2010-10-05 05:39:00 | I DID get mine going in XP. Had to scratch around to find the drivers on the net - I don't think they are there now, because I looked within the last year. :( I have Windows 7 now, and have bought a new scanner. :)

2010-10-05 06:30:00 | No Idea if the following will work - no Mustek Scanner to try it on, but several forms say it does on Windows 7 Look at Post #4 (www.sevenforums.com) | wainuitech (129) | |
2010-10-05 06:48:00 | Vuescan may work if it's supported .. if you have no other but if you use it solely by itself, it has a watermark until you buy it. It's a driver and a scanning software. If you don't want to upgrade the scanner that's a way. The scanner software might also be more pro .. Some folks with Nikon scanners prefer to ditch the s/w and use Vuescan.... It's supported www.hamrick.com Mustek BearPaw 1200 CU PLUS PS. Oops .. it says you need to download the WIA driver from Mustek's website first ... so it's just a software for your scanner. FYI, some scanners like this has a driver for you if the manufacturer doesn't, unfortunately yours is not one of them. www.hamrick.com
