| 1141373 | 2010-10-03 19:09:00 | I have both VIPRE Antivirus Premium and Avira Antivir Premium installed. I originally had the Avira purely for the antivirus aspect and the VIPRE as a firewall. As things evolved, the VIPRE became more sophisticated and now I am thinking of dumping the Avira and relying entirely on the VIPRE. Anyone got any suggestions? |

I would stick to keeping both tbh, pretty sure in VIPRE you can just set it to not scan for virus' and just use it as a firewall (even though I use the standard Windows one). Have to be careful when running multiple AV's as they can end up crashing into each other and displaying false positives.. |
