1141240 2010-10-03 01:42:00 I am again trying to install Thunderbird. I completely removed the previous installation with Revo Uninstaller.
I downloaded the latest version and it installed ok. It didn't run automatically and when I try to run it from the Thunderbird Icon, I get a Window:
"Thunderbird is already running but is not responding. To open a new window, you must first close Thunderbird process, or restart your system"
I can't see how to close it. I tried a reboot and the same window comes up.
I am bluffed. Any suggestions please.?

That is the first thing I tried. In win7 that just takes you to "log Off' "Change Password" etc. Doesn't help. Just get the same window up.

No it doesn't, you choose Task Manager from the choices. Then click Processes. Then look in the list for Thunderbird.

But anyway, delete your profile (if you don't need anything out of it) and create it from scratch.
