| 867388 | 2010-03-15 08:47:00 | This (pressf1.pcworld.co.nz) may help. Plenty of threads here on Freeview. Type Freeview in the search option at the top. :) |

Although you won't get HD via the satellite. If you have a UHF antenna and a HD ready tv and live in an area that gets the digital Freeview terrestrial service then you could just buy a terrestrial receiver. As for Indian channels a 1.8M dish system can get quite a few. |

| 867392 | 2010-03-17 04:07:00 | Triangle Stratos is available on Freeview Satellite which is available in all areas. I'm guessing you're having poor analogue reception. That may be because of your location or a poor quality VHF/UHF aerial setup. Are you using VHF rabbit ears? Freeview HD terrestrial reception isn't available everywhere. Go to their website at http://www.freeviewnz.tv/ to see whether you're in the zone. You can get free to air Indian channels via these two satellites www.lyngsat.com www.lyngsat.com but they both need large, low angle satellite dishes. If you buy a satellite receiver, I recommend you get one able to handle MPEG-4 and HD upscaling instead of a Freeview unit. There is a pay TV service called Vision Asia which if subscribed to will provide Indian stations from this satellite www.lyngsat.com |
