| 866564 | 2010-03-14 04:34:00 | You wouldn't know, the Brummy accent is so awful, you can't understand every second word. Ok pin back your lug'oles and listen to this, first the Brum accent www.bbc.co.uk ...and then the Derby accent, sounds just like Cicero. www.bbc.co.uk Suppose we should have a poll as to which is the most intelligible :banana |

Both those links make my Firefox 3.6 crash and I haven't had it crash before. I suspect it is the ram extension which I suspect is Real Media. |

When I piped the house in Leicester, I used reactor grade stainless and AGS aircraft fittings. |

| 866571 | 2010-03-14 21:44:00 | Strangely enough, some plumbers have the idea that 316 SS does not corrode too badly at all, regardless of South winditics and the Docistics ;) 316 SS is not immune to some forms of corrosion, but they are usually found in industrial plants only. One of my business activities is identifying specific types and causes of corrosion. I see a lot of 316 SS in various food plants, dairy factories etc and corrosion is quite rare. I think it would be quite reasonable to say that 316 SS does not corrode too badly, especially in domestic uses. Cheers Billy 8-{) |

They and the pipe appear expensive, but when you cost a house including the plumbers labour, it used to work out cheaper. When you add in the cost of warranty for 5 years, it leaps ahead. I doubt whether reactor grade which presumably is all release noted and x-rayed, with AGS parts would be cost effective in a domestic situation unless a few trucks had Lucas tailgates ;) |
