| 865869 | 2010-03-12 02:58:00 | We use Power Steering fluid - it's NOT red and has a high SAE and EPI-rating number . It must be anti-foam and anti-corrosive with good water dispersion capacities . Do NOT use ATF as it is not designed to be used in a hydraulic system nor in power steering systems . Some PS units can tolerate it pretty well, but why take a chance . BTW: EPI fluid is fairly universal and we also call it "Hydraulic Tractor Oil" and is available in bulk 5 USGallon cans here (-3ºC) at Wal-Mart here, but maybe not in Upsidedown Land . |
